IT Lead Systems Administrator

Edmund Furlan is currently the Lead Systems Administrator of Civitas Education Partners (CEP), a school management organization in Chicago, Illinois. Civitas Education Partners manages four schools, including three high schools and one K-8 campus, serving more than 2300 students in the City of Chicago. CEP exists to provide access to opportunities that break the cycle of poverty.

Edmund has been with Civitas Education Partners since June 2012 as a highly successful educator in science instruction with a proven track record. Edmund moved to his current role in 2015 and has taken great initiative to support our schools, teachers, and students to the highest level. Edmund’s ability to support technical systems, handle unique situations, and ability to be inclusive with teachers in terms of implementing effective classroom technology, has been a great benefit for CEP. Edmund has multiple additional years of teaching, and technical support experience within other districts. Edmund currently holds a M.Ed. in Technology Education from National Louis University and a BS.Ed. in Science Education from Loyola University. Edmund also has multiple industry recognized technical certifications that are related to his role as the Lead Systems Administrator.
